This is where the site's older posts live. There are two batches of them: short gambling-industry notes published between January 2010 and July 2014, and sports event previews from 2019. Both are kept at the addresses they were published on, because links and search results still point there, and both are left as they were written rather than quietly updated.

Everything in the archive 43

Read these as dated material

Nothing in the archive is maintained. The industry notes describe licensing, tax and corporate news as it stood in the early 2010s — a tax rate, a court case or a sponsorship deal from 2012 tells you what happened then, not what applies now. The 2019 previews were written before the fixtures they discuss were played; the predictions in them were never updated with the results, and some of the headlines were later re-stamped with a different year by the site's own publishing tools, which is why a 2019 recap can carry a newer season in its title. Where a page matters for a decision today, the dated entry is not the place to settle it.

Where the current version lives

Everything the archive once covered has a maintained page now. For how a Canadian licence works and who holds one, start at best betting sites in Canada. For moving money, the payment methods section covers Interac, iDebit, Instadebit and the rest, rail by rail. Current offers and their real terms are on the bonuses pages, and new posts go to the blog, not here.

Why the old pages stay up

Deleting them would break every link that points at them and lose the reader who arrives from a search for a 2013 event. The pages keep their addresses, their publication dates and their text; what they get from us is the current site frame, so the navigation, the footer and the responsible-gambling notice are the same ones the rest of the site carries. If a page in this list contains a factual error about something still live, the contact page is the way to tell us.

Checked and kept current by the GamblingKingz desk

Last checked

  • the licence an operator names, and its entry in the iGaming Ontario register when it has one
  • every offer against the terms the operator itself publishes
  • the cashier page for the methods, limits and fees it lists
  • provincial rules against the regulator’s own pages

A figure we cannot point at a source for does not go on the page, and the number out of ten beside a shortlist row is a position marker for that table — see how we rate. We do not hold player accounts, take deposits or pay out winnings.

Betting should stay a game

GamblingKingz is an independent Canadian casino and betting guide. We are not an operator and we take no bets. Every site here is checked for three things: whether it is registered with AGCO and iGaming Ontario or holds only an offshore licence, whether it keeps balances in Canadian dollars and pays out through Interac, iDebit, Instadebit or a Canadian bank, and whether the bonus it advertises has terms a player can actually read. Links to operators are commercial; the order of our table does not depend on them, and where a brand has no verified Canadian bonus figure we leave the row out rather than convert a euro package into dollars. Ontario-registered sites are not allowed to publish welcome offers to Ontario players, so the figures shown for those brands are the rest-of-Canada offer. Bonus terms, limits and payout times change — read the operator's own terms before you deposit.

Canada licenses gambling province by province, not federally. Ontario has run an open market since 4 April 2022: an operator registers with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and signs an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario (iGO) — 48 operators and 82 sites were on the register as of 22 July 2026. Alberta opened second, on 13 July 2026, under the iGaming Alberta Act, with AGLC as the regulator. Every other province runs its own operator instead — PlayNow in British Columbia, Loto-Québec, Atlantic Lottery, PlayAlberta — and issues no private online licences, so residents elsewhere play on offshore sites, which is not an offence for the player. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission, inside Quebec, has licensed offshore operators since 1999. Recreational winnings are not taxable in Canada; playing professionally is the exception.
