£113m EuroMillions Jackpot Still Unclaimed

On Friday, one lucky EuroMillions Lottery ticketholder won a record £113 million jackpot, and although the winner has yet to come forward to claim their millions, the winning ticket was bought in the UK.

What makes the EuroMillions Lottery so popular is the fact that it's available in the UK as well as many countries in Europe, which means its jackpots regularly reach into the ten of millions and even higher, as demonstrated.

This week UK National Lottery operator Camelot said the winning ticket that will unlock the EuroMillions Lottery £113 million windfall was purchased in the UK, but that as yet no one has come forward to claim their prize.

Said Camelot spokesperson, Andy Carter, 'Lottery jackpot prize winners don't always come forward immediately after the draw. Many winners only find out they've won a week later when they buy tickets for the next draw.'

Every day that the lucky EuroMillions Lottery winner doesn't claim their winnings is costing them up to £8000 a day in interest, assuming they banked the check for £113 million and didn't choose to keep it under their mattress.

The previous record for the highest paying lottery jackpot in the UK was £84.4 million. Lottery fans across Britain are anxious for the lucky winner to come forward, although he or she may well choose to remain anonymous.

In case the EuroMillions Lottery winner may be you, and you just don't know it, here are the winning numbers from Friday's draw: Numbers 9, 30, 35, 39, 46 and lucky stars 6 and 8.
