The GamblingKingz Desk

The GamblingKingz desk keeps the guides, payment pages and bonus terms on this site current, and writes the blog. Each page names where its numbers come from, and a claim we cannot point at a source for does not go on the page — the figure out of ten beside a shortlist row is a position marker for that table, explained in the checklist behind it, not a score from an account of ours. Pages are signed by the desk rather than by a person, because the checking is done against a register, a cashier page and a terms page, and any of us can open those and get the same answer.

Legal age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.Ontario play is regulated by AGCO and iGaming Ontario; Alberta by the AGLC.We earn a commission on some links — and what that commission does not change is written out in full.Help line ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600 · how to stop when it stops being fun.

What appears on a page is decided by what can be shown. A licence number is quoted from the regulator's register rather than from the operator's footer, because the footer is marketing and the register is the record. A bonus clause is quoted in the operator's own words, since a summary of a wagering rule is where the reader loses money. Return figures come from the studio that made the game, not from the casino that hosts it. Where none of those sources says anything, the field is left out, because a number we made up would look exactly like a number we checked.

A page here goes stale the moment an operator edits its own cashier or terms page, and operators do that without announcing it. So every payout window, minimum deposit and wagering multiple on these pages carries the place it was read from: open that page at the operator and compare it before you send money. If the two disagree, the operator's own page is the one that binds you, not ours — and a note through the contact form gets the figure here corrected. The same rule decides what is missing: where an operator publishes no payout window at all, this site leaves the field blank instead of estimating one, because an invented number is worse than an obvious gap.

What every page has to name

  • Licence — the operator's entry in the regulator's own register
  • Payments — the cashier page and the payout terms the operator publishes
  • Bonus terms — the wagering clause as the operator words it, quoted, not summarised
  • Data — the operator's own privacy notice and what it says it keeps
  • Games — the studio's own certificate for the game's return figure

Last checked

  • the licence an operator names, and its entry in the iGaming Ontario register when it has one
  • every offer against the terms the operator itself publishes
  • the cashier page for the methods, limits and fees it lists
  • provincial rules against the regulator’s own pages

Betting should stay a game

GamblingKingz is an independent Canadian casino and betting guide. We are not an operator and we take no bets. Every site here is checked for three things: whether it is registered with AGCO and iGaming Ontario or holds only an offshore licence, whether it keeps balances in Canadian dollars and pays out through Interac, iDebit, Instadebit or a Canadian bank, and whether the bonus it advertises has terms a player can actually read. Links to operators are commercial; the order of our table does not depend on them, and where a brand has no verified Canadian bonus figure we leave the row out rather than convert a euro package into dollars. Ontario-registered sites are not allowed to publish welcome offers to Ontario players, so the figures shown for those brands are the rest-of-Canada offer. Bonus terms, limits and payout times change — read the operator's own terms before you deposit.

Canada licenses gambling province by province, not federally. Ontario has run an open market since 4 April 2022: an operator registers with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and signs an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario (iGO) — 48 operators and 82 sites were on the register as of 22 July 2026. Alberta opened second, on 13 July 2026, under the iGaming Alberta Act, with AGLC as the regulator. Every other province runs its own operator instead — PlayNow in British Columbia, Loto-Québec, Atlantic Lottery, PlayAlberta — and issues no private online licences, so residents elsewhere play on offshore sites, which is not an offence for the player. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission, inside Quebec, has licensed offshore operators since 1999. Recreational winnings are not taxable in Canada; playing professionally is the exception.
